FLYAQ is an an open-source platform that enables the specification of monitoring missions performed by swarms of autonomous quadrotors. The specification is done at a high-level of abstraction, then the platform is able to
- automatically decompose the global mission into relevant portions depending on the number of quadrotors making up the swarm, and
- automatically generate the implementation code to be executed by each quadrotor in order to fulfill the common goal of the mission.
The FLYAQ platform enables operators (which have limited IT knowledge, but who are experts in environmental missions) to plan missions easily.
